Hi
great to come across a site commenting on one of the greatest sermons. my comment is this the truth should never go out of style no matter how unpopular the subject. I would love to hear this sermon preached from the heart.

thank you

Thanks Andrew for posting these reflections on Chambers. One of my first reactions was "how?" So many of my interactions with Christians struggling with sin (and indeed my own journey) seem to circle back to the issue of "accessing" or "being available to" God's power relative to our struggles with sin.

Do you have any thoughts on what that looks like for us? How might believers make actual what you wet our appetite with here: "I want to know the power of God to destroy the works of sin in my life."

Andrew - which seminary do you attend? Had I been in the class, I'm sure I would've quipped, "I do take the Bible seriously...that's why I'm a 'Calvinist'!" ;)

Andrew,

Are you the same A-Hess who went to Taylor University? Do you happen to remember me? If you are the same guy, as I recall we were acquaintances, perhaps through Dr Heth's Greek classes? I think when I was leaving to go to Trinity, you were thinking about attending. I see you've made your way to Denver.
