Gift Ideas For Your Pastor

Finding a good gift for your pastor can be a challenge. While it may seem the last they they need is more books, here are a few rare gems they probably don’t have and would find a great blessing. Most of them were released in the last few years, even if they’re newer editions of classic works.

Every Good Endeavor: Connecting Your Work to God’s Work by Tim Keller

Voices from the Past edited by Richard Rushing

Morning and Evening by C.H. Spurgeon

Dangerous Calling by Paul David Tripp

Lectures To My Students by C.H. Spurgeon

Faithfulness and Holiness by J.C. Ryle & J.I. Packer

Preachers and Preaching by Martin Lloyd-Jones (40th Anniversary Ed)

The Glory of Christ by John Owen

Heroes by Iain H. Murray

Pastors, anything you would add??

One Response to Gift Ideas For Your Pastor

  1. Two books I read this year and would highly recommend to any pastor or ministry leader are Jim Martin’s ‘The Just Church’ (http://bit.ly/Qbe99G) and Andy Stanley’s ‘Deep & Wide’ (http://bit.ly/ASDnW). I actually bought ‘Deep & Wide’ as a gift for my pastor and read it before gifting it to him. Both speak to ministry philosophy and church culture, while asking challenging questions.
